She is originally from Pakistan and has completed her bachelor\u2019s in science from Dalhousie University, Canada, and her master\u2019s in International Marine Biological Resources (IMBRSea) from Ghent University in Europe.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-62d430c\" data-block-id=\"62d430c\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Her master thesis, 'Analyzing whistle structures of Bottlenose Dolphins in the Tyrrhenian Sea, in relation to various geographical and socio-behavioral aspects', is based on data collected by Oceanomare Delphis. Her research looked deeper into the acoustics, communications, and behaviors of dolphins to understand the group dynamics and social structures of the bottlenose dolphin population of Ischia Island. The results are useful in developing and updating conservation strategies for the species in the MPA of Regno di Nettuno.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-0ed20ef\" data-block-id=\"0ed20ef\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">She has experience working for marine conservation in Canada, Pakistan, and now in Europe as well.\nAreeba's passion for studying marine megafauna brought her to Oceanomare Delphis two years ago. \nShe embarked on Jean Gab last summer as a research assistant and is joining us again this year as a Researcher.
